More advanced work on controlling the way that EndNote's in-text citations, footnote citations and bibliographies appear in a Word document.
Note: This course is designed to follow the Up & Running course, so it assumes that you are already familiar with collecting references in an EndNote library, inserting citations in a document and formatting using EndNote's output styles.
You will learn to edit output styles for papers and documents, to manage the way that citations and bibliographies are presented. You will work with templates for formatting citations within text and citations in footnotes. Other topics include how to work with page numbers and other output settings and some special options for an individual citation. You will learn to design a bibliography, and how to build a bibliography with categories (such as separate primary and secondary sources). We will also discuss unformatting citations - and when or why that might be needed.
This course pack is suitable for Mac or Windows users.
