This course covers special aspects of Word which will help you create and manage your thesis or similar large, formal documents.

You will learn about some of Word's power tools which will make your document better organised, such as hierarchical numbering schemes for headings and sub-headings, and how to set up different kinds of cross-references. Understand how to build and format tables of contents and indexes (manual or using automarking). Word has tools to create and manage footnotes and endnotes which you need to use efficiently. Overall, you will understand how to work with field codes and bookmarks, and how to keep them properly updated.
